    My cooking experience with Jahnela has been one of the best things I’ve done so far in my health journey. There’s something special about cooking a meal with someone who genuinely cares about what goes on your plate, but more importantly, about the mindset behind the entire process.

    I’m not an avid cook by nature, but I’ve always wanted to learn how to prepare more homemade meals to nourish myself. I’m happy to say that I’ve made significant progress since working with Jahnela. I've discovered just how much I love food, and I’ve learned that cooking doesn’t have to be difficult as long as you approach it with a positive attitude and have fun in the process.

    What I appreciate most about Jahnela is her focus on the mindset and intuition behind cooking, rather than simply following step-by-step recipes. This approach has helped me take the pressure off myself and inspired me to create meals that are tailored to my own tastes and needs.

    Ughh where do I start?! I can't begin to express how thankful I am for finding Jay. For some background, I'm a 33 year old woman who has struggled with her weight, disordered eating and PCOS for as long as I can remember. I've had such a horrible relationship with food and working with Nutritionist in the past has often been overwhelming, triggering and to be quite honest, very restrictive which made it hard to stay sustainable. Working with Jay I was a bit hesitant going into it but, after our first call I just knew I was going to be okay. She was so attentive to my needs, encouraging and very insightful. The bonus is her recipes are super versatile AND POC friendly! What i liked the most was the nothing she gave me was restrictive. It was about eating the foods you like but being adding the things your need to make it more nutritious. I had lots of nutritious meals without having to sacrifice seasoning. Through out the 4 weeks, she checking in on me as much as possible, adjusted things to tailor to my needs and was so sweet and encouraging. I would recommend Jay to anyone. I just finished my cooking lesson to finish off the program today and it was SUCH A VIBE. The music, the conversation, and as a bonus, I had so much food to take home. It was like cooking with your bestie. I'm definitely gonna miss working with her! Thank you so much Jay! ❤️

    It was a lovely experience being able to work with Jahnela. She is very thorough and transparent when it comes to communicating what is expected of you and what she will walk you through during her nutrition program. I did 4 weeks with her and was fortunate enough to have a LIVE cooking lesson with her.

    I absolutely loved where she hosted the cooking lesson, the meal we made (creamy sun dried tomato salmon penne) and the techniques she taught me along the way.

    I appreciate Jahnela’s holistic approach to food and nutrition as she looks at it as a whole (mindset, habit, environment) vs just a number on the scale.
